CareerBlast, LLC respects your right to the privacy of the personal information you provide us on our website (careerblast.tv) and will treat it carefully and in accordance with this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”). CareerBlast has identified trusted partner companies, 360Reach.me, oracoaching.com and williamarruda.com  (collectively “Network” or “we” or “us”) designed to introduce you to a carefully curated selection of the latest and best career building thinkers and products. To that end, unless you designate otherwise or we state otherwise in this policy or at the time information is collected, any personal information you provide will not be shared outside our Network. Each of the Network member companies is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We will not otherwise use or disclose your personal information without your consent except as described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law, court order or as requested by other government or law enforcement authority.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time by updating it on our website and through communications we send to you.  The effective date of the policy is written above. If you use or access the website after this policy is modified, you are providing your consent to the changes. If you do not agree to any changed version of this Privacy Policy, you should not use or access our website or use the services.

What Information We Collect

Information we collect automatically – You can browse the website without providing us with any information, but we gather some statistical data to understand how the website is used, such as the Internet Protocol (IP) address of a computer requesting a page, the pages requested, computer and connection information such as device and browser type and operating system. We do not associate this statistical information with your personal information that we otherwise collect. We may use third party analytics providers to help us understand and use this statistical data.  

When you open an account with us.  You may need to register and open an account with us in order to access and use certain services we offer.  Registering requires that you provide certain personal information, including your name, email address, and account password.  you will be asked to provide a unique log-in ID and password. You are responsible for taking reasonable precautions to protect your login data.  You should not share your password with anyone. We cannot be held responsible for a breach that results from a lost or stolen login or password information. You can always close your account at any time and for any reason.  If you close your account, we will delete your name and email address from our systems.  

Demographic information. We may ask that you provide certain demographic information (such as gender, occupation, etc.) when you open an account with us.  However, this information is used only for aggregate statistical purposes and is not linked to a specific individual and will be retained if a user closes their account.  

Subscription and payment information. A subscription may be required to access certain services, which could be on a monthly or annual subscription basis. When you register and open account, you may be asked to provide a credit card or other payment related information to pay for your subscription, which will be processed and stored by our payment provider. We do not store credit card or address information.

Cookies.  A cookie is a piece of data stored on your computer’s hard drive that contains information about you and your computer. The cookies used on the Website do not contain any identification that would be useful to another individual or organization. We use cookies, for example, to remember your login information so you do not have to enter a username and password each time you return to the website (should you choose this option). We also use cookies to provide statistical information on site usage and personalize and enhance the online experience. Some of these cookies may be active during the time you are viewing a website (“session cookies”). Other cookies may remain on your computer after you have closed your browser or turned off your computer (“persistent cookies”). We do not use cookies to serve you with targeted ads, either on our website or third-party websites.

How We Share Your Information

We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this Privacy Policy:

  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of the CareerBlast, LLC, our users, or others.  This may include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
  • For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide your personal information.
  • With your consent.

We reserve the right to disclose aggregated or anonymous information (i.e., information that does not identify you) about our users without restriction. 

We do not sell, transfer or share your email or other personal information to any third party for their marketing purposes.    

Social Media Features

The website may include features from social media platforms such as the Facebook Like button and features on Twitter, Google+ and Instagram that run on our website. Please note that our website is not sponsored or endorsed by Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or Instagram, or any other social media provider, which are trademarked and owned by third parties and not by us. These features may collect your IP address or other personal information, which page you are visiting on our website and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. 

Social media platforms may disclose your personal information to us, in accordance with your agreement with the platform and the terms of that platform’s privacy policy. By connecting to our website through a social media platform, you are authorizing us to collect, store, use and disclose your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.  The social media platform’s collection, use, storage and disclosure of your personal information is not covered by this Privacy Policy.

Security and Data Retention

We have implemented reasonable precautions to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Your personal information is retained in secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. 

Be advised, however, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information we collect and retain.  

If you establish an account with us, please do not provide your login information, including your password, to another person. We cannot be responsible for a data breach or other incident if a password is used by unauthorized persons. You are solely responsible for protecting your password, limiting access to your devices and signing out of websites after your sessions. 

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the requested services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

For Users Outside the United States

CareerBlast, LLC is located in the United States. Your personal and other information will be stored, processed and accessed on servers located in the United States.  If you are located outside the United States, you understand and agree that the we may transfer, collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process the personal information you provide in the United States as described in this Privacy Policy, although the United States and other jurisdictions may not afford the same level of data protection as considered adequate in your own country. We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information. Note that your personal information may be available to the United States government or its agencies under legal process in the United States.  

Users in EEA and UK 

For residents of the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom (UK), we advise that your personal information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which has data protection laws that are different than those in your country and may not be as protective. The United States has not sought or received a finding of “adequacy” from the European Union under Article 45 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legal basis for collecting and using your personal information is to do so with your consent; where we need the personal information for performance of a contract or requested service, or where the collection and use is in our or another’s legitimate interests and not overridden by your data protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. In some cases, we may also have a legal obligation to collect the personal information in question.   • If you believe your personal information is inaccurate, no longer necessary for our business purposes, or if you object to our processing of your personal information, you also have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your data pending our investigation and/or verification of your claim.
  • Request your personal information be deleted or restricted under certain circumstances. For example, if is using your personal information on the basis of your consent and has no other legal basis to use such, you may request your personal information be deleted when you withdraw your consent.

Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

If we ask you to provide personal information to us to comply with a legal requirement or enter into a contract, we will inform you of this and let you know whether providing us with your personal information is required and if not, the consequences of not sharing your personal information with us. 

Similarly, if we collect and use your personal information in reliance on our or a third party’s legitimate interests and those interests are not already described above, we will let you know what those legitimate interests are. 

We endeavor to apply suitable safeguards to protect the privacy and security of your personal information and to use it only consistent with your relationship with us and the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Users in California

Pursuant to California’s “Shine The Light law (California Civil Code § 1798.83), California residents are entitled to request, once a year and free of charge, certain information regarding what types of their personal information may be shared with third parties and, in some cases, affiliates, for those third parties’ and affiliates’ own direct marketing purposes. Under the law, a business is to either provide California customers certain information upon request or permit California customers to opt-out of this type of sharing.  Note, however, that we do not sell, rent, lease or otherwise make available your personal information to third parties, including affiliates, for their marketing purposes, unless giving you a choice before disclosing to third parties or affiliates.

For California residents under the age of 18 who are registered users, California law (Business and Professionals Code § 22581) provides that you can request the removal of content or information you may have provided to us. Be advised, however, that applicable law may not permit us to completely or comprehensively remove your deleted content or for other reasons as set forth in this California law.  

We do not share or transfer personal information to third parties that would constitute a “sale” under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

We currently do not honor browser-based “Do Not Track” signals.

Users in Nevada

If you are a Nevada resident, you may ask us to add you to our opt-out list for possible future sales of certain information we have collected or will collect about you. A sale under Nevada law is the exchange of personal information for monetary consideration by the business to a third-party for the third-party to license or sell the personal information to third parties. However, we do not sell or license personal information to third parties. 

Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law, an individual has the right to request from us a copy of what personal information that we have collected or to ask to correct or update their it. Individuals can also request that we delete their personal information from our systems and records. We strive to respond to these requests with 30 days or as required in accordance with applicable law.  

You can always close your account at any time and for any reason.  If you close your account, we will delete your name and email from our systems.

Please note: If you are currently using one of our products, like 360Reach, you will continue to receive emails related to your product subscription until it expires. If you would like to stop using any of our products, please send an email to support@careerblast.tv

Whenever you directly provide us with your personal information, please be sure it is accurate and complete. We cannot be responsible for any information you provide to us that is incomplete or incorrect. 

We will not collect, use, or disclose your personal information in any ways or for any purposes that are materially different from those set forth herein. However, if we wish to do so in the future, we will obtain your consent first, and offer you the choice to opt-out of such proposed collection, use, or disclosure. 

If we send you promotional or marketing messages, you will be able to opt out of receiving our marketing or promotional email communications by using the “Unsubscribe” feature at the bottom of each email from us or by requesting to opt out by emailing us at support@careerblast.tv. Please note that you cannot opt out of receiving transactional communications from us regarding services you request, your account with us or other transactional or administrative issues.

The website may contain links to other websites and services. We do not control such third-party websites and services and are not responsible for their actions or privacy practices. The existence of a link does not mean that we endorse or have vetted such third-party website or service. You are encouraged to carefully review the policies and practices of every website and service that you visit or use to learn what personal information they collect, for what purposes and how they may use and share it. 

Children’s Privacy

The website and any offered services are intended to be accessed and used by persons 18 years or older.  If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under the relevant minimum age without parental consent, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.
